Pure Love

A few years ago, I've an idea. I was greatly influenced by many romantic dramas, impressed by the power of love. I always thought love as a connection between two lovers; how it was able to allow one to feel for another person, putting themselves in their shoes, neglecting self-preservation for the sake of their loved ones. I pictured a scene where two lovers walking down a street at night - it was snowing and the couple was holding hands - they sat down on a bench and the guy took off his jacket and gave to the girl - both of them smiled. That was love, where both of them loved each other because they are who they are. That was in fact pure love. I was amazed and dazed by how noble love could be. But, have I been deceived all this while? Pure love? I highly doubt that it exist.

As I grow, I came to realise how corrupted humans' mind actually is. In school,or rather it beginned as early as primary school, students have been talking about sexual-related topic. Primary school kids... imagine a 12 years old boy talking about sex. In sencondary school, everything is worse. Vulgarities, tension , racism... its too overwhelming. Its impossible to keep clean and avoid being tainted. I've been thinking, in such environment, how could anyone remain untainted. What happened to purity? The love I'd always been dreaming of; does it exist?

Years ago, I was looking forward to my future. I was really looking forward to love. But seeing how love actually is, I came to fear my future, fear love. But I still retained some hope; hoping that somewhere in this world, or in fact around me.. There will be one who looked at my heart, not just the facade. One who will always be there for me, one I would give up my life for.

Exhausted

Alright, I could hardly breathe this few days. Suffocated by mock exams and coursework. At least I could watch Dong Yi everyday.. thats how I survived. Anyway, I should be finishing Dong Yi real soon.In today's episode, the queen has died.. Although I love Han Hyo Joo and Dong Yi, the Queen would've been my favorite character (side to side with Dong Yi) in Dong Yi. I feel very depressed when she was dying. Chances are, she pushed herself to regain consciousness because she has unfinished business to settle. When she regained her consciousness, she revealed the location of the palace nurse, said a few last words to Dong Yi and the King, and than died. Well, thats how exhausted she was. I really got goosebump all over and tears in my eyes when she told Dong Yi how happy she was to have Dong Yi as a friend. Damn... Why do good people have to die. Dong Yi was extremely depressed too, not to mention the King, who claim that he had not manage to do anything for the Queen, which is precisely true. Alright, Dong Yi, its up to you now!! CRUSH THE BITCHY JANG and avenge the Queen!

Night of Pretense

Okay, a quick post... Im using my phone to update, so who knows what could happens? I wanted post today because I have just finished Ad Lib Night; like finally!! I gonna say it was the most confusing yet meaningful and tounching movie I even seen. I know I know, its not convincing because my vocab isnt really powerful. I cant really describe what I really felt through out the whole moive through words. The movie was really deep and questions were poundering as I watched the movie. I think there were a few questions unanswered, but the main purpose of the movie was clearly delivered before the movie ends. It basically tell us to cherish and respect our family, friends, loved ones, and the two most important things; youself and your life. The movie is really motivating and inspiring.. Not many people might understand or appreciate the movie, but I say its one of the best thing you would ever get in a theater.

Nonstop laughter

ITS FRIDAY!! Hookay, I've been watching sitcom "Nonstop 5" starred by both Han Hyo Joo and Koo Hye Sun!! How awesome is that!! But before I go into that, I'll have a little talk about Dong Yi first. The series have been very addictive and kept me watching and watching. The charm of Han Hyo Joo is one thing, but the storyline of Dong Yi is awesome too. In fact, its so awesome that it stops my breath, which kind of pisses me off. I like how climax goes up and down, keeping me in attention of whats gonna happen next. So far, Dong Yi had succeed in bringing the former Queen back to the palace and Queen Jang have been demoted to a low rank (The one above palace matron, forgot what its called). However, a few years later, Lady Jang set a trap for Dong Yi, which causes her to lose her position and almost executed. Dong Yi had also lost her child due to a disease. How unfair could the world be? Anyway, I say the King has been quite useless. C'mon!! Lady Jang involves in the murder of the King's Mother. All she gotten was a demotion due (Considering that she is the mother of the prince). Well Dong Yi only happens to be related (Yeah related, she wasn't really involved) to the mass killing of nobles by the swordsman's society. Dong Yi is also the mother of a prince, well.. before he died.. And the punishment for Dong Yi is to be exiled (Previously was to be executed). So tell me, isnt it obvious which crime was more serious? How did the King judged anyway? And if he went according to law and exiled Lady Jang instead of just demoting her, Dong Yi wouldnt even be in trouble now!! It sure angers me a lot!

Anyway, I've been watching nonstop 5 for nonstop this week. I downloaded the show from a forum, but sadly it doesnt provide me with all the episodes and only some are subbed. Although I've been watching the series with random episodes missing, and sometimes I'll to GUESS what the characters were trying to say since it werent subbed, I'm just happy that I managed to catch some of the episodes. I say its quite a successful sitcom, making me lmao. As usually, I love Hyo Joo's character. She plays a timid girl who kept notes, stating the list of revenges she gonna take and debts she gonna pay. Isnt that cute? She always murmured "I'm gonna take revenge" whenever someone offended her and "I'm going to pay him back" whenever someone helped her. And yeah I think she goes well with the nerdy Tablo! They were cute together! She was also very clumsy and easily forgotten. Like how she kept falling when she was searching for Tablo in a forest, and how the crew members always left her behind, like forgetting that she was on a tree making the "leaves fall" effect and went back school themselves, leaving her on the tree. Or locking her in a coffin used for filming and went to eat (She was supposed to act as a vampire, but when locked in the coffin as the crew forgotten that she was inside). So Hyo Joo got herself a pretty unique character. Another character I like, undoubtedly, was Hye Sun's. Not much is known about her character yet, but I just find her extremely cute. Sometimes she appears to be girly, but sometimes she appears to be a tomboy.. So I'm not sure what she is. But one thing I'm sure of, is that her character was hot tempered, violent, and what we known as the "Character with devil horns". I love how she kept punching her boyfriend when her friends were around (She dated with him secretly, and punched him to act as if she hated him). She is also always seen with a lolipop, hahaha!! when it comes to directing, she demands flawless film. She will go and add all sort of things just to remove the flaw, even if it means making the film ridiculous. Hahaha, man! I love those girls.. :)

Contrast

Aww.... 3 days of rest, school will be starting tomorrow. Haiz. I've been cheering myself up by rewatching shining inheritance. Seriously, the drama seems to be as good as the first time I've watched it. Watching it the second time doesnt make the drama more boring; now thats what I call good drama. I'm currently watching episode 22 of shining inheritance, and I came out with a thought. Shining Inheritance is like a better version of Spring Waltz. Lets look at the similarities and differences: Both dramas have a rather pitiful main female character and they are both pure and kind-hearted. The two female lead also have similar name, which are Eun Young and Eun Sung respectively (Both characters were acted by Han Hyo Joo. Han Hyo Joo's character in Iljimae is called Eun Chae. Ironic? HAHAHA!!). Both dramas have a rich douche bag lead male character who turns good at the later part of the story. Both dramas have a awesome male counter lover who loves the male female character and treated her selflessly well. Well both dramas also have bitchy female counter lover and mother-in-law (Spring Waltz)/stepmother (Shining Inheritance). But why did I claim that Shinining Inheritance is a better version? First the storyline is more "lively", which includes funny and exaggerated scenes, whereas Spring Waltz is more plain; not much of funny scenes, but very warm-heartening scenes. The story of Shining Inheritance is also more developed. It shows, in details, how Eun Sung developed a feeling for Hwan, although they started off as enemies. For Spring Waltz, I dun really get it. That Jae Ha was such a DICK. I got no idea how Eun Young falls for him. Philip was much better! On the other hand, I prefer Hwan over Joon Se, although they were both good. Yeah, so therfore, I find Shining Inheritance more exciting and enjoyable to watch. But nevertheless, Spring Waltz is definitely another awesome drama! Anyway, I've finished episode 49 of Dong Yi today. Its not exactly episode 49, since I watches it at Channel U, and the episode isnt the exact episode of the drama. Yeah, the drama have been really good so far. I'm not sure how the story would last till episode 60, as it looks like its ending soon now. I bet new things would happen to keep the drama alive, but nevermind, I will see how it goes. I prefer the period where Dong Yi was just servant, and how she treats the king as the judge. The part was the most epic! Dong Yi is now the Palace Matron and she is not as lively as before, due to all the problems occurring around her. Sigh, I was time could go back.. I'm sure she thinks that way too.
