Love > Career

I'm actually liking Lee Yo Won more and more these days. She is amazing in Queen Seon Duk and caught my attention. I say she isn't exactly good-looking, but she is definitely beautiful. One thing I like about her is that she is married. I love to see that she puts family in front of her career. Nowadays, people rarely marry young due to their career. She, however, married at a young age of 23. After giving birth to a daughter and resting for a while, she went back to acting. She doesn't care if her marriage would hinder her career, and ofcourse it didn't. I've finished a lot of her dramas and movies. I've jsut finished "surgeon dong dal hee" yesterday. Gosh that drama is awesome! I very thought I'd be interested in a medical-based drama. Usually, I'd hate to see scenes of people dying in hospital and stuff, but this drama gives a different vibe. The plot are interesting and it delivers a sense of hope for me when I'm watching. On the other hand, it's love story is while awkward.. Lee Yo Won is suppose to match with a short angry guy. The guy is a true douchebag. I can understand how the guy had fallen for Yo Won's character, but can't quite comprehend why Yo Won's character did the same. However the last episode is cool. One of the best ending I've ever seen. Happy ending, not only for the characters' relationship, but also their dreams. A very inspiring drama!

The lonely top

I've just finished "Queen Seon Duk". I'm glad I'd bought the DVD.. The drama is seriously one of the best I've ever seen. In fact, it's better than "The Legend" without even having to put in special effects. The drama is not only entertaining and exciting, it also teaches us valuable life lessons. It also helped me realise the importance of our history, and the struggle our forefathers had put through in those era. When I watch the drama, I could feel every single emotions that lies in it. Lee Yo Won portrayed the character, dukman perfectly. I love how dukman and lady mishil always challenging each other in such logical way, exchanging wise words. I absolutely love how dukman always smile at lady mishil when she won a battle, in such a way that she is mocking her. Lady mishil deserve that as she is a villain. However, lady mishil isn't that bad.. she got her soft side, which makes me sympathize her when she dies. The battle between dukman and lady mishil was epic. The drama became a little bit dull after lady mishil died, since I hate seeing bidam becoming so skeptical and ends up betraying dukman. I hate to say this but dukman should not have spared lady mishil's man; they corrupted bidam which leads to the tragic ending. The ending was a sad one, but also a meaningful one. Usually, I would hate to see the main character die, like Dong Yi.. But this is appropriate since dukman died during the period too. The part where bidam walk towards dukman while engaging her soiders was extremely emotional. He was so foolish, loving someone.. yet those bastard won't leave him alone.. They made him turn against someone he loves. How curel is that? I'd also felt the pain and loneliness of a king. A king who needs to shoulder the burden of a nation, a king who can neither trust or doubt, a king who has no name besides the title "your majesty". That is why there shouldn't be a female king.. because the pain is too much for a female.. It's really too curel. I leanred alot of things from this drama.. and felt alot..

17th Birthday

I heard from my friends that the o level results would be releasing on the 10th of january next year. I'm expecting alot for my results.. hope I would not be disappointed. In the meantime, I'm spending my holidays playing my ps3 and watching dramas. Recently, my cousins from Malaysia came to Singapore, so I got a chance to go out for some activity. Actually, we went to Universal Studio Singapore. Finally! I always wanted to go... It was a surprise visit, as I was first told that we'll be going to the Underwater world. I didn't even bring my camera along.. But I had a lot of fun! I tried out the "Transformers The Ride", which opens that day (3rd December), and alot other rides and shows. Yesterday was my birthday and I celebrated it at my aunty's house. We brought a cake there and sung the birthday song together with my cousins and my aunty's baby, Chen You Zhe. I'm not sure... but sometimes, I think I'm used to having my birthday past unnoticedly.. Having many people around for my birthday makes my feel unconfortable and uneasy.. Still, I'm not sure.. Not sure how to react when they wished my birthday.. not sure how to react when they passes my the presents. I've still got much to learn. I'm 17 now.. 17 means I should be old enough to take care of myself. It means I'm able to think rationally before doing anything and make wise decision. It means I should understand better, and show compassion to the people around me. I hope, I can mature as I passes my 17 birthday, and become a better person.
